Just dove Jocassee for the first time. Near the wall where they quarried granite for the dam. Saw the Chinese Junk, motorcycle, speedboat... rock walls that decend into cold darkness. It's late September, still a lot of green alge in the water above about 50 feet. Below that you pass a thermocline - water drops from maybe 74 to maybe 67. It's clear below. It's a nice dive location for anyone near by and all the way over to Atlanta. We went with www.offtewalldiving.com and thought they were a first rate group. WBHobbs - Atlanta
